Hitachi Sunrise Park in state-owned Hitachi seaside park
Hitachi Sunrise Park Co. Ltd. manages the pleasure garden in the state-owned Hitachi Seaside Park. It was founded by the joint investment of SENYO Group, the parks and green tracts administrative foundation, Ibaraki Prefectural Development Corporation, Japan Railways East and other major local corporations. Hitachi Sunrise Park has been enjoying popularity since its opening in 1991, offering enjoyment and comfort in a setting of magnificent natural beauty.

Participation in international exposition

SENYO Group took part in the entire process from planning through management of EXPOLAND, which was an amusement zone in the Japan World Exposition in 1970. Since then, we have been participating in recreation areas, pavilions, and inner transport facilities of all domestic expositions such as Okinawa International Ocean Exposition, Tsukuba International Science and Technology Exposition, and Osaka International Garden and Greenery Exposition. The success of the expositions are due the business participation in the amusement zone "Hoshimaru Land" and the observation monorail "Vista Liner", and the exhibition participation in the pavilion "Techno Cosmos Hall" in Tsukuba International Science and Technology Exposition. Another factor is the business participation in the amusement zone "Magical Cross" and the tramway "Flower Cabin", and the exhibition participation in the pavilion "Water Fantasia" in Osaka International Garden and Greenery Exposition. It is the mission of SENYO Group to improve local activities and the social standard of living through participating in such national projects.
SENYO Group has been actively taking part in various local expositions throughout Japan to promote success. In particular, in the Yokohama Exposition (YES '89) in 1989, we participated in the creation of the world's largest Ferris wheel (at the time), "Cosmo Clock 21" and exclusively planned, built, and managed the amusement facility, "Children's Republic". We have also participated in 40 local exhibitions in Japan, including the exclusive participation in "Vista Liner", the transport monorail on the site of Nagoya Design Exhibition, and in the amusement facilities for three expositions. Our original plans and operation, focusing on safety, were highly praised.

Creating a prosperous city
The world's largest Ferris wheel (Tempozan)
The giant 112.5-m high Ferris wheel began operation on July 10, 1997 in Tempozan Harbor Village in Osaka. It is the largest Ferris wheel in the world, and was completely planned, designed, manufactured, and managed by SENYO Group. It has some gondolas designed specifically for physically challenged people. The narration in the gondolas is timed to the view of Osaka Bay Area, which passengers can observe. In the evening, the wheel is decorated with illumination supervised by world-famous illumination designer, Motoko Ishii. The illumination is computer-controlled and creates a dreamy night atmosphere in the Osaka port by showing the weather forecast using orange, green, and blue lights. It indicates temperature using eight concentric circles with its 100-m diameter wheel, and displays dazzling fireworks of illumination against the night sky.
The Tempozan Ferris wheel is located in downtown Osaka, an international sightseeing city, and has become a new symbol for Osaka. It attracts people not only to Tempozan Harbor Village but also to the whole bay area.

Global scale activities
SENYO Group plays an active role in leisure all over the world. We have planned and built a number of large-scale amusement parks overseas such as in China, Taiwan, and South Korea. In particular, we planned and built a number of large-scale amusement parks in China such as "SinJinShan Amusement Park" in Peking, "JinJian Playground" in Ahanfhai, "Chengdu City Amusement Park" "Honey Lake Country Club" "Pearl Land" in Zhuhai, "Chongquing Youth Culture Center" in Chongqing, and "Nanjing Amusement Park" in Nanjing. We also provide management guidance to contribute to the development of recreation in China. Taking advantage of these achievements, we undertook various large projects such as the development of shopping and food service complexes with a theme park or a certain type of recreation at the center. We also try to promote economic exchanges between China and Japan by exporting amusement facilities and importing various products.

JinJian Playground, China		 SENYO Group also provides facilities as well as management guidance to Seoul Land and Dream Land in Korea, and "Janfusun Fancy World" in Taiwan. In countries other than China, we actively promote overseas projects by developing full-scale amusement parks, theme parks, resort and recreation facilities.
